No, there isn't.
Its always they have 2for 30 n 2 ,for 20
Don't think so. They have great customer service, so give them a call.
No
Not as good as a year ago. The food could have been hotter. Service was fine.
Outstanding ribeye steak, our server ( Rene) was great he was helpful, funny and provisional.
Seems that they are giving less beans and coleslaw. I also thought they gave you bread as a starter? Please don't go on the slippery slope.
There a lot of choices for steaks in El Paso. This was my first time eating at the location of 54. It was just ok. Ok service. Ok food.
Good things come to those who wait. And let me tell you I did and it was well worth it. I was ambitious and ordered the 2 pound steak for myself. I asked for the steak to be medium and the chef got it perfectly. It was juicy and tender. You don't need any A-1 sauce, it would just ruin your steak. Loved the cole slaw. This is the only place I can say I'll eat the whole serving. There rolls are delicious and soft. There beans and potatoes are very tasty aswell. Was not disappointed. And im sure you won't be either.
Our server was attentive and friendly the food however was NOT GOOD the beans were hard (thought I was eating peanuts) the steaks were not cooked as requested .... Baked potatoes were burnt. We were very disappointed
My work went here for a celebration. We were a big group and had reserved the table prior. We were advised that we could not be in the secluded section but would still get individual servers for the party. When we arrived they advised we would not have a server assigned to our table. After placing our orders we waited and waited and waited. Small parts of our table received their meals, ate and got their checks before others were ever served. I ordered the ribeye medium rare as many of my co-workers did. My ribeye was what I would equate to meat used for fajita, thin and fully cooked, my vegetables were warm not hot and bland, and they forgot my dinner role entirely. My co-workers meat was also fully cooked despite their request. This was not worth the $27 I paid and I would never recommend this place to anyone else. On a side note the waiter was very nice. 😊
They were out of almost every meat, I had to ask for my drinks almost three times, and for my appetizers twice! When we finally did get our food, it was barely warm, the nachos looked like they weren't burnt in the microwave and were days old, and nothing we ordered had any flavor to it. I was there four my birthday dinner and it was horrible. Won't be going back
The service was friendly, the atmosphere was okay. I would recommend the fried fish sandwich.
This place has always been great in the past (like 7 years ago kind of thing) and in the past few years the quality of the food has decreased significantly. At this point I could make a steak at home for $20 and it will taste way better than anything served here so I’ve just stopped coming.
Just walked in and sat down the waitress tried to rush us to put our order in and then got mad when we asked questions about the menu and asked for more time. She rush off with a stank face. I find this to be very very rude and so far I'm giving this place two stars. Let see if they can change me mind... Just noticed there is one person for 14 occupied tables. Staffing issues for sure. Now I starting to give a little to the waitress. They also are gave us a wilted salad, the bowls on the table are dirty and then told us we had to pay for the bread that they use to give for free. So so disappointed in this steak house!
I'm very disappointed in the Quality and consistency of this franchise. It use to be one the best! Today I ordered the beer battered chicken expected that golden brown crispy flavorful coating that I enjoyed before. How disappointed I was. It was flat barely any breading and had no flavor. Oh wait it did have flavor. It tasted like old grease! I told our server he just apologized. I insisted he let the manager know so they might taste the product. Pretty much all I got was an apology. A manager did not come over to our table. They did not comp the meal even a few dollars. I left half of the chicken on the plate. I will NOT eat there again. This franchise's quality has really changed. Lucky for me I have one on the west side and never get disappointed with their quality and consistency.
We went there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Our daughter surprised us with a Elvis impersonator. It was great and we all had a great time.
Party of four. One ordered a fish sandwich it was cold And rubbery. One ordered shrimp it tasted bad was also rubbery and cold. My baked potatoe was cold. Charged us 7.60 for rolls. Asked for extra cheese on my chicken, looked like I asked for very little. Bowls of beans and coleslaw half empty for four people. Took 45 minutes to get the check. Asked for the shrimp to be taken off our bill. Nope $8 taken off. Manager never even came to our table after we told them we thought the shrimp was bad.I have eaten here before and the food was great. Worst $100 I ever spent on a meal. I will never go back and advise other people to steer clear of this disaster.
My family has been eating here for over 25 years. I never had a bad meal or service.I just had the fish and chicken combo and my son had the steak burger. He had NO complaints and neither did I.It has been and remains a damned good place to eat.
Horrible service, this location has slid down over the years. Chef doesn't know how to cook food, steaks arrived cold and tough and food was just overall bland. Waited over an hour for our food for a party of 4 only for it to arrive at the table cold. We were one of the only 3 small parties in the restaurant at the time. I was also told they were out of baked potatoes, yet I got one when I was ready to leave, so they probably forgot about it. Waiter was trying his best to provide good service. Management seemed to give us excuses whenever they forgot something we ordered. Just stay away from this location.
The food was great. My sister ordered a plain cheeseburger and to my surprise and it was AMAZING. My food was also very delicious. The ambiance was quiet and I could definitely imagine them hosting larger parties. They have a fully stocked bar. My bourbon and sprite was poured to be expected. Server was kind and very helpful since I was visiting for a wedding and she gave me some tips on what was in the area. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in El Paso, TX again.
A lot to unpack with this experience. I hate to be mean if it was just a bad day. It seemed that, though he was quiet friendly, our server hadn't actually been trained to be a server. They rolled our food and beverages out on the carts generally used in the kitchen to move dirty dishes around. Were out of baked potatoes early on a Saturday night, and substituted without asking. The cuts of steak we were served I'm not convinced were the cut we ordered and were very thin. Kinda gave off a business in decline feeling.
Our waiter did the best he could but the food is not what it used to be. I think our steak was fried instead of grilled. This is not the first time we have had this issue and we won't be going back until this location is under new management.
Worst experience ever! Service was horrible. The food was not as ordered and cold and to top it off they are ripping off their customers. Charging their customers whatever they feel like for drinks. When requested to speak to a manager. She never showed up while the restaurant was dead. If you want to get robbed best place to be at. The other Great American's they charge $6.25 for a j black whiskey. This one $14. The owner should be ashamed. See the bill:
I am rating this one star because there is not a minus 5 stars....I rename this place the Great American Disappiontment
Surprisingly had a terrible experience. Waited for some time to be seated but a host never appeared. We finally sat ourselves but none of the wait staff addressed us. We waited again for sometime to give our order but no one came around. We were treated as if we were invisible so we decided to leave. Another couple was treated the same way and also left. I guess we found out why they closed their doors months back. It's a shame.
The experience was not great - found plastic wrap in the chicken fried steak between the breading and the steak. We were offered nothing other than an 'oops' and the waiter literally told us not to worry they took the price of the chicken fried steak off the ticket. Gee, thanks for not charging us for something we couldn't eat. We won't be back- your prices do not match the less than quality of your food and your reaction to our situation was less than good service.
Not sure what happened to this place. Down hill big time 5 table occupied the whole time we ate. Got there at 5:30 left at 8pm. Everything was different menu wise, food not so great. Waiter was wonderful he served us, and one other table, he was very attentive to our needs.
The service was excellent but the food was not good at all. The meat was ok but the baked potato was dry and the beans tasted burned.
The 3 meat burger was outstanding, but the side dishes lacked flavor. Our server was very friendly and liked to joke around. I liked the way the restaurant was decorated and it wasn't too loud like other places.
Not as nice as the one downtown, but food was good and the service was friendly.
Customer host was rude. We ordered to go. Paid $10 for 2 orders of mushrooms and $4 for their dinner rolls, I was really surprised by the poor quality food when I opened the box. I don't suggest coming here at all. I'll never be back.
Everything was cooked to perfection. Going back very soon
Sat 8th of February when there for an early dinner around 3:00 PM it wasn't busy but the order was messed up my lobster wasn't cooked completely I doubt that I will be returning there also there not military friendly in regards to a full discount only off the service members meal
The ambiance was relaxing and the wait staff pleasant. However the steak was astonishingly thin - about 1/2 inch. I'm a diabetic, so substituted a salad for all of the sides and bread. For a $2 up charge, I received a side salad, which was much smaller than my wife's side dishes.
The server was very sweet but they were out of many items from the menu. After we placed our order, after about an hour our server came to tell us they were out of white gravy for one of the three chicken fried steaks ordered. When we finally got our food two of the three were swimming in gravy while one had none. Why they could not share the gravy between the three is still the question. The third without the gravy was also strangely shaped into a ball and was raw in the center. Not your best night Cattlemans.
The north east side is always slow and always out of something.
Horrible service.. Worse managed place I have ever seen. Used to be a great place but those days are long gone
This was singlehandedly the WORST restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Although the service was friendly the food was very disappointing. My group all ordered top sirloins/ribeyes and ALL of the sirloins were extremely rare. Basically had heart beats. Kindly asked for them to be sent back and cooked more and they came back slightly more cooked yet extremely tough. The ribeyes were skinny and poorly cut. Food was absolutely horrible felt nauseous after eating. But the bread was good...
Steaks came out cold. "Fresh" steamed vegetables were clearly from a bag and previously frozen. Have juice for the bar but the owner refuses to serve kids juice. The fried pickles came out as a mess of hot pickle and batter that was not fully cooked or remotely attached to the pickles. I gave two stars because our server was great and they did comp the pickles that came out wrong.
Food was excellent, service was great however the prices were very high
Friendly service, nice atmosphere, yummy steaks, a bit on the $$$ side. Includes beans and pineapple slaw.
Prices are a bit high for the quantity and quality of food. I normally only go here when others in my group choose to. It's not a place I personally would choose to visit on my own. It used to be much better but in recent years, and after undergoing new management, the quilt just isn't the same. There are other, better steakhouses around town. For A GREAT experience, I recommend Cattleman's in Fabens.
The restaurant was virtually empty and as we sat down we spotted a roach on the wall. There was no bread served until we asked flight it and they were out of green chile chicken soup. I ordered the BBQ platter and was disappointed in the brisket and chicken that were very dry. We ordered nachos as an appetizer and it was just tostadas sprinkled with cheese and bbq sauce. This place use to be very good but has greatly declined in quality recently.
Excellent place to dine. Wait staff friendly and very attentive to our needs. Food was presented very eye appealing and prepared to perfected! Highly recommend this eating establishment!!
Not a decent steak place, more of a cheap diner style steak with upscale prices. Way overpriced for what you get. Some menu items aren't served anymore as well. Maybe a shadow of what is once was
Food here was horrible. I was expecting it to be pricey as it's a steak house, but what we got for our price still left you hungry. Fish was cold and tartar sauce runny. My husband order a steak quesadilla burger and it was honestly a shrunken piece of meat between two tortillas with no toppings.
We ate lunch there and I had a steak burger! The waitress was very helpful!
Very expensive for the quality of food we recieved. Steaks were tough, and not hot. Service was mediocre, we had to wait a lot for drinks and the ticket. The dinnerware was cheap and reminded me of an old buffet. Our party of 6 had an 18% gratuity added to our bill, which was very unusual for only 6 people. I would not recommend this place.
This place was our favorite to go to. Changed culture recently. We had the steak burger. They were good. The baked potatoes were great. My wife's burger was medium well and she asked for well done. Otherwise the experience was good. Will definitely go back. Would like to see it come back to its glory days. Service was also good.
The service was excellent. The food was no where near as good as other locations. This must be a different owner.
A great western style restaurant with a beautiful interior of genuine furniture. A great comfortable environment and table service...a gorgeous view/landscape of the mountain FRANKLIN' plenty of free parking 🚸♿🚻 Gateway Blvd. North @ Cohen *♡
Had to ask for water twice. Never brought out my second beer before we done. Beans tasted like hormel chili. Brisket was dry. 0lukled pork tasted like canned corned beef hash. Steak was tough.
